Thanks for the results! Glad to see my ol' buddy Earl Smith make the feature! Do you know what happened to Earl? Thanks again!

    Default not earl smiths fault

ronnie has a perfect combo for tracks like tst was last night and he is a hall of fame driver to go with it he drew a low # and was the key last night it was not any fault of earl smith he drew a late # to time and if you where above eight or ten to time you were history if the guys that run the show where pros then they need to go back to school any time you have that many cars you need to have group timeing and i would very much like to hear a comment from them on this they can turn it in to a game of luck rather than skill

    Comment:

We use a mark of 32 as our break for grouped qualifying. With the format that we used last night if there are MORE than 32 cars we use 2 groups. You are obviously someone who attends TST regularly and I am sure you have been at TST when going out later was much better than going early. We could come in for the October show, have 28 cars and the top 10 fastest cars could be distributed equally, be in the last half of the cars or the first half. The race track is always the wild card - the format shouldn't be.

Racing is still a game of skill and always will be but there ALWAYS also going to be an amount of luck involved as well. We do our dead level best to be fair and make things equal for all. But we have to have a constant rule - otherwise things become inconsistent and that turns into inequality. Drawing for your qualifying spot is 100% a game of luck. The RACE is the game of skill.

The official did a good job last night. Take a look at Tim Busha. He run mid pack when their are officials to check tires and he can't cheat.
