JASON WELSHAN WOULD LIKE TO CONGRATULATE ROBBY MASON ON HIS 1st CRATE LM WIN OF 2011

Maryville, TN (4/25/11) --- The deck height on a piston was found to be incorrect/illegal on the motor used Friday night (4/22/11) at Boyd's Speedway. Subsequently the victory goes to #72 Robby Mason of Hixson, TN whom finished behind Welshan at the conclusion of the 20-lap "A" Main Crate LM feature. The Team-Kile, Maryville, Tennessee driver was quoted in a telephone conversation "we'll get it corrected and be back..." before making a statement apologizing to THE FLYIN' WELSHAN BRIGADE, of loyal fans across East Tennessee and North Georgia. A special 'thank you' was also conveyed to Richard Harvey, one of the owners of Boyd's Speedway, whom loaned Welshan a motor in order to compete the remainder of the racing weekend. Welshan was able to pick up a pair of victories at Crossville (TN) Raceway Saturday night.

i would be interested to know what kind of bolts the motor had. Were they GM, RM , Nesmith etc.... If they were anything other than GM then that leaves a lot of questions to be answered.
