super street motor location???

finnaly fixin to set a motor in this camaro super street car ive been building,..an was wondering bout best location of motor from a handling perspective...as far as hight in frame,..side to side?? only rules is number one plug in line with ball joint,one inch tolarence...also woundering bout drive line angles,as its effected by motor location an angle of crank center line,..this is first race car ive ever built,...any help or ideas welcome,..thanks

Its always good to get the motor back and down as far as your rules allow.

We built in the ability to raise or lower the motor up to 2", and typically raise it when it goes real dry.

Your oilpan hitting the crossmember will typically dictate how far you can lower it
