Along with all of the great racing at the Tri-County Race Track on Monday, May 30, several other exciting things will truly make this a "Can't Miss Event for the Entire Family." From 5:00-6:00 p.m., there will be pit tours available for all kids ages twelve and under. Those children will be taken through the pit area to see all of the cars and get their picture taken or an autograph from their favorite driver(s). After the pit tour, the kids will receive a free t-shirt and a free meal ticket for the grandstand concession stand where they can get something to eat and drink. The children's pit tour is courtesy of reallycheapfloors.com.

In addition, we will also recognize all of the veterans in attendance on Memorial Day by asking them to stand, so that the entire crowd can honor them for their service and sacrifice. Also, a portion of the night's ticket sales will go towards the Clay County Relay for Life. This is a great cause and the Tri-County Race Track is excited to partner with them on Memorial Day. Last but not least, a fireworks display will light up the sky during the intermission session.

Additional information on the Tri-County Race Track can be accessed by pointing your web browser to www.tricountyracetrack.com.

    Who will be there?

    Ive heard RUMORS of:

    Jonathan Davenport (Per Website) http://www.jonathandavenport.net
Ivedent Lloyd Jr (Per Website) http://www.ivedentlloyd.com/21tour.html
    Chris Ferguson
    Brian Reese (Per Website) http://www.brianreese33.com/tour.html
    Clint Smith
    Shane Clanton
    Anthony White
    Brent Dixon
    Skip Arp
    Ronnie Johnson
    Brent Robinson

Some of Tri-County's Strong Weekly Drivers this year include:
    David Payne
    Johnny Chastain
    Shawn Chastain
    Danny Ledford
    George Mashburn
    Jeremy Ledford
    Randy Nichols
    Steve Clark
    Jacob Grizzle
    Rodney Weeks
    Jamie Oliver
    David Mccoy
    Jimmy Ivester
    Mike Davis
    Glen Barnett

Check with Ray Cook first but it might be a good opportunity for someone to double up and try to take the Super Latemodel Feature ($3000) and the Limited/Crate Feature ($1000). So far this year Ray has allowed drivers to run both with different car's weekly. As I said ask Ray first to confirm this is still the case but might be a good opportunity for some drivers.

Should be a race to remember! Ray and crew have done an awesome job this year. Does anyone know if local driver Jamie Oliver will be there? If so, the track should do something for his daughter. To my understanding she is still in a hospital in GA. Both Jamie and his wife have left their jobs and have been with her the entire time. Our thoughts and prayers will continue to be with their family thru this difficult time. Couldn't imagine what they are going thru.

    10 inch wheels.
    No front jack bolts
    Aluminum intake okay
    Holley 600 only
    .450 lift hydraulic cam
no double hump, performance or .041 heads
shocks must be in stock location.
Thats the basic rules that will usually rule a lot of cars from other tracks either in or out.

A 10-15 minutes with the drivers in the stands passing helments around could raise a good bit during a short time to help out the Oliver family, maybe during a short intermission.

Update: This is not a definite but I added Chris Ferguson to the list!

I got word that if everything goes good for them this weekend they will try to make it to Tri-County on Monday!

He would for sure be exciting to watch at Tri-County, but as I said this is not a definite yet.
