David Payne beats the rain and a strong field at Tri-County

Coach David Payne took the lead at the drop of the green over pole sitter and four-time feature winner, Danny Ledford. Ledford stayed glued to Payne’s rear bumper for all 30-laps with Jamie Oliver right there waiting for the slightest mistake. Finishing in the top five were Shawn Chastain and Ethan Hunter.

Eighteen Limited/Crate signed in for the main event, which had side-by-side racing all over the track. Danny Ledford made it two wins in a row. Bobby Panter, Kevin Bradshaw, Charlie Parker and Kevin Sutton filled the top five spots.
