    Default Coil question

    We have been running a stock coil with the TFI Dist. What is a good coil to run Im sure there is something I need to be running other then a stock on

    thanks for any help

    Most any after market high out put coil will work.MSD Blaster 2 is a good one.

    I use the MSD blaster TFI coil #8227, works great IMO.

    Have always ran the Blaster 2 coil...

    If you use an oil-filled coil, do NOT mount it horizontally. Mount it vertically. If mounted horizontally, the cooling oil can leave about 20-25% of the coil secondary windings uncovered, which can lead to ultimate coil failure. Been there....... done that! -Dave-

    NO power or reliability to be gain going to anything other than a stock coil. JMO
