    Default T5 tranny ratio

Another tranny ratio question - T5 that I know is from a Mustang 2.3, tag is E7ZR-7003-AA. This one is not on Breezeman's and I'm trying to find 2nd and 3rd ratios. Is second 2.34 or 2.39? Anyone familar with this numbner tranny?

yes it is, your showing it's a 1987 trans. even if you don't know 2.34 or 2.39 that diff is so insignifacant we're talking 30 rpm max.

    Default T5 tranny ratio

Thanks Pobort. I guess you're talking about the 1352-162 tranny on Breezeman. I see that one but not the E7ZR that's on the tag. the 1352-162 is on the tag, tho.

all of the t5 trannys will have a 1352-before the 162 or what ever you have. That is what tells you what it is. there are only two 2nd gear ratios on the t5 with those numbers, 2.34 and 2.37..the 3rd gear will be 149. The other numbers on the tag will give you the year and stuff like that, as Pobort said. Those numb ers are on Breezmans site.

Correction, the t5 with the 5.0 will have a different ratio. all but one of the 2.3 trannys will be what I said, there is one with a 214 second. If they are from a 2.3 they will have the 234 or 237 or that 214. My bad.

I think Winder is a 1/4 mile around the outside wall!! Man that place is small. We ran over a 7.0 with a crate late model there. Very racy for the 4 cylinder classes though and a fun track.
