Will probably work OK in Virginia, but may be less than optimum in Maryland or either of the Carolina's ! -Dave-

    Default Rear Gear

Sorry, won't work in Virginia. Something about the air makes a 3.27 gear run in reverse. Now if you install it backwards it's OK.

    Now now, play nice.....

Perhaps with a little more information, ie engine/trans ratio size/rpm/track length & type you could get more useful answers....

    Default Experiment

If you do try a 3:27 and it works.
You gotta try a 3:31. It's just "a little bit" better.
That's the hot set-up here in Fla.

    Thumbs up

3/8 mile track with 2.14 trans. and 327 rear gear works great

Easy Rule-of-Thumb to remember. For every .1 FINAL ratio gear change at the rear pavement/dirt, the engine rpm will change 125-150 rpm, up or down. -Dave-
