Double thumbs up! What's it for?

4cyl modified at my home track. is a lm chassis buy we can only run a 3link. and no coil overs so we have to change some mounting points. the old rules relay limited the class to mustangs and there no longer in the area so in 2010 they came out with a mod 4 and now thats what we run ..

They let you have all that then say no coil overs.... Really does not make any sense as the coil overs are not that much difference than the price of shocks/springs/ perches/ mounts / jacking bolts and harware... Maybe even less depending on the shock rules you have. Then I see you already have the threaded shock so you can run coil overs... What was the reasoning behind that rule?

good looking stuff!!!!!!!! what (who's?) kind of chassis is that?

mark. its a ron miller race cars chassis ( proven chassis) we ordered it without the front cross and all the mounts as we have to change them all for the right geometry anyhow because of the 13" wheels
that threaded shock is just a mock up shock they have to be a smooth steel bodied shock.

a arms are easy lol the cross shaft is made with 1x1 with 2 5/8 nuts welled to the end. the ball joint holder is flat stock cut to shape . the arms are 1x1 bent in a hyd muffler tube bender ( you can go about 50 deg befor the 1x1 kinks) wel 2 hime nits to the end spin inn the himes bolt them to the cross shaft ...
we have a whole 20-25 bux in an upper a arm.. we do have a jig made for it aswell as the lowers.

Continue taking photos as the build progresses
I am VERY interested in how this car turns out. I have toyed with the idea of just starting with a Late Model chassis and adapt the suspension points and motor mounts to a 4 cylinder.
Hopefully you will be able to post more photos.
