    Default roll center

if i was able to lower the mounts on the lower trailing arms 1/4 to 1/2 inch would that have a noticable effect on performance and roll center?

Trying to understand your question. I'm assuming this is a metric 4 link? Are you referring to the front , rear or both mounts??

By lowering the rear mounts on the lower trailing arms you would be raising the roll center and that is usually the opposite of what you want to do with a metric. If trying to make the rear of the car stick more in the turns you will want to get the trailing arms up as close to the axle tube as you can this will lower the roll center
