Default Ford Crown Vic weight/width vs Chevy metric

I always hear how heavy the fords are. Anyone have any actual numbers on the weight difference between crown Vic chassis and a metric chassis?

Width difference? Are the fords wider?

351w vs 350 engine weight difference?

Is it a matter of adjustability? Not being able to put the weight where you want it?

    Thanks!

ford deck height taller than chevy making it wider also. weight difference around 30lbs. if use the 347 ( 302 stroker ) ford would be around 40lbs lighter than chevy. now a 351 cleveland is around 60lbs heavier than 350

if wider isnt better then why do we see 1 and 2 inch offset wheels on most modified cars and stockcars and imca sportmods cant run them. My imca stockcar weighs in 3200 with 54 rear in a class of chevys at
