    Default Roush/yates engines

    I guess this is a little late to ask , but how good are this motors buy Roush / yates i bought a 410 ford today and now woundering if this was the right chose ?

    Good motors but a local could build you a good motor for less, or a bigger name late model builder would be as good and same or less. Quality is there just price is high.

    As for local, I use Rick Darling out of Marshall, great luck with him, great support, and very pleased with his service. That said there are man others out there that build good, many that build junk. With roush you get a good quality motor, smooth power but like all they can blow up. You did not go wrong with a roush, but you could have got as good for less probably.

    I saw an add starting at 27 grand for a dirt motor.I think it was on racinjunk they have an add on that site.

    yeah just saw a 360 sprints start thats starts at 40 grand.
