why do all the local tracks close for the big races away from them instead of giving there locals a place to run. sure would be nice to have a track to run at like richmond raceway,lake cumberland speedway or ponderosa speedway.

I wouldn't say all tracks close for big races. They were open and running in my area but rain messed that all up.

some of these promotors go watch the north south world 100 ect.

Most of your weekly racers either go and watch the big race or race with the big boys themselves. I know a few racers that race around locally on a weekly basis usually but they will take off and watch the big races or they will go run themselves in those big races.
