Steve Casebolt wins 18th Annual Fred Dillow Memorial!
Steve Casebolt came from 18th positon to win the 18th Annual Fred Dillow Memorial at Portsmouth Raceway Park last night, on August 18th!! Casebolt took it up on the high side and at one point made it three and four wide racing for the lead with Jackie Boggs, Josh McGuire and Eddie Carrier, Jr. Casebolt also won the Racers in Christ $183 Hard Charger Award! Rounding out the top ten was Jackie Boggs, Josh McGuire, Jason Montgomery, Eddie Carrier, Jr., RJ Conley, Ben Adkins, Nick Bocook, Donnie Moran and Chris Wilson!
RJ Conley set fast time and pocketed the $1,077 Bozo's Just Give Me One Lap. Jason Montgomery won the Sgt. Tim Moore Late Model Dash, which paid $233 to win! Late model heat races, paying $83 to win, were won by Josh McGuire, Nick Bocook, Eddie Carrier, Jr. and Chris Wilson.
Doug Adkins won in the modified division; Audie Swartz won in the limited late model division; and Shane Pendleton won in the bomber division.
There were a total of 136 race cars at the Dillow Memorial, 43 of them being late models.

Sounds like a heck of a show. Wish I would've went. What time did the show get over?

It was a little later than usual because of the high car count, but not sure exactly what time it was over. If I had to guess, the late model feature was probably over around 1230ish, but it was well worth it! That was one exciting race!

I agree wish I could have been there to see that show. 18th to first wow thats awesome I hope Portsmouth tells Lucas to suck it up for the dtwc and preps the track right. I am thinking about making my first trip that weekend to Portsmouth but Lucas Oil scares me... you never know what you are going to get

That's a track prep crew problem, not a Lucas Oil problem. I plan on being there for the DTWC. Will be my first time to the track.

The track prep and racing at Portsmouth Raceway Park has been top notch all year so I don't foresee that being a problem. I'm looking forward to the DTWC and I hope you guys enjoy your first visit to PRP. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

that's a great number of latemodels for 5k. 1230 isn't bad at all..i should've went
