I doubt you're going to find much difference in weight (and you may not notice the difference) unless you get a fancy all carbon fiber lid for a gazillion bucks. To get the best benefit you'll need to get something that fits fairly tight. Anything looser than that and you're probably asking for trouble.

If you're not really serious about protecting your brain, then I suggest you just throw a bandana over your brain and call it good.

Make very sure that whatever helmet you choose for AUTO racing that it has an SA rating. Provides more impact protection than a motorcycle helmet.

    Default bell k-1 sport

    Hi bro
Jacob here to participate in discussion.
You choose a great product. This helmet is a choice of winners.
The K.1 Sport features a lightweight composite shell, comfortable interior fit and maximum ventilation with full chin bar, forehead and top vents. The K.1 Sport takes a 276 SRV Shield and each helmet comes with a clear shield and Bell visor strip as standard equipment.

There are many other helmets but your choice is really appreciable.

Nobody could resist that carbon fiber lid with a comfy touch however, prices do escalate quickly viagra online. You could spend in a lifetime of bucks for that.

You can buy a decent Bell or Impact helmet for under $500. It's well worth the extra $150 to $200 to get a NAME brand with a long standing reputation as to risk your brain with anything else.

Bottom line is you don't get to sue the manufacturer when a racing helmet fails, so make sure you are buying something that comes from a company with a long standing reputation for quality.

Your choice of BELL helmets is up there with the best there is. Like someone else said though, make sure you choose an SA rated helmet, as motorcycle helmets are not made for auto racing.

    Looks like a re-labeled Bell.
