    Default racing flywheels and clutches

    Ok guy mu car still has the cable for clutch fork. I have got my hands on a nice racing flywheel clutch setup . Is the cable gonna holdup to the presure or should i use a hyd slave cylinder setup ?

    If it is set up correctly,the cable will last for years.

    No problem at all with using a cable. Just remember the travel on the racing clutch will be less and make sure you don't over extend the pressure plate fingers. Adjust it up so that slightly after disengagement you have a stop...............not just the floorboard unless you want to set up disengagement near the floor. I've seen lots of nice clutches overextended and ruined.

    seen a few main bearings and crankshafts ruined because of over extending also let-r-eat.
