The regulation protects both the capitalist and the worker. Look threw history, every unregulated capitalist society ended with the rich dead in the mud or running for their life. What usually replaced it wasn't much better. These lessons seem to be forgotten easily. I guess greed is just a part of human nature. Having convictions with anything that doesn't align with one's pocket book is also.

Greed is what makes Capitalism work. Unregulated greed is what kills it.

Too much goverrment intervention is what is wrong. Bailouts, subsidies, etc.

Some regulation in ok. Needs oversight to stop mergers etc and keep game fair.

But regulation that prohibits market entry or plays favorites is bad.
