    Default through out bearing problem

    I need an answer quick. I am trying to use a tilton single disc clutch on a QM flywheel. I am using a stock pinto type trans. The stock t/o bearing and it will not reach. I have not found out from anyone which bearing to use. can anyone shed some light on me for this.

    If the old Chevy 250 6 cylinder bearing won't reach then if you have a torch and welder handy then cut the back off another stock bearing and tack weld it on the back of that one, move shifting fork to welded on section?

    Thanks, I will check out the old chevy one. But it puzzles me to think that they sell the clutch and there is not a thro out for it.

    Speedway Motors sells a extented bearing for a Tilton/QM. Part# 605-498p. I use it with no problems. Sells for $79.99
