Since the series is the Virginia Heritage Series, the winner will be paid with pictures of Thomas Jefferson & George Washington,
both presidents who were born in the great state of Virginia. The pictures will be on legal tender! That's over 100 Jeffersons
and 100 Washingtons! Bring a big wallet!

In addition to all the other awards, a Hard Charger award of $40 will be presented to the car that moves up the most positions in the Ucar feature. The April 20th award is sponsored by Lowery's Custom Sawmilling of Round Hill, VA.

This Saturday will be the first race in the Virginia Heritage Ucar Series, and Ucars can sign up for
the free points championship at a table set up in the pit area. After sign up, each Ucar will receive
a 5" series decal that should be placed on the driver's door. These decals will identify cars that have
competed in a Virginia Heritage race.

Three heat races paying $25 to each winner!

1st Race is in the books, and what a race! Check out this video. The 48 car (with the in car camera) and the 15 car battle the whole race. At the very end the 2 car goes by on the outside just at the line to steal the win. What a race!

The Virginia Heritage Ucar Series continues with the Dogwood Special on May 18th at Winchester Speedway.
In addition to the increased purse, the series pays cash awards to the three heat race winners, has a Lucky
Dog award, and gives the feature winner an embroidered hat. The series also has its own point system that

We're bringing back the "Jeffersons". Winning Ucar driver in the 15 lap feature on May 18, will get $120 in Two Dollar Bills! This payout, like all the payouts, comes in souvenir envelopes. If the feature winner also wins his heat, he will pocket $145. All three heat winners get envelopes. The Virginia Heritage Ucar Series will now have the NAPA Know How Mechanic's Award! The mechanic of the feature winning Ucar will receive 4 quarts of oil, a filter, and a NAPA hat at the June 15th race. It's about time the guys that turn the wrenches get some recognition!
