    Default leaking oil

    Hello guys im leaking oil from under my oil plug-and the oil plug its self, it isn't a bad leak it will leak out 2 quarts in a week, i was wondering if there is anything i can do to prevent this and its a front sump Pinto Oil pan,

    Sounds as though the threads in the pan for the plug fitting are about worn out. You can try a sealant to see if that would help. If not, the pan fitting might be drilled out & a new heli-coil installed to bring all the sealing threads back up to snuff. -Dave-

    Going to clean the bottom of the pan completely clean and check all the threads and possably redrill the fitting for a new Heli-coil thanks for the help.
