How much gear oil in a Winters?

Of course, the inspection plug is stripped, so I can't check it like the website says. How much do I need to put in? It was empty when I bought the car. Thanks.

Gotta have a good eye but 2in.below axle centerline look through inspection hole.Almost 4qt i believe.Also the plug on the gear cavity can be used.Put Mystic in it.

It's an older rear end, manufactured in 99, but the inspection plug is stripped and I can't get it out. I already put 2 quarts in but didn't want to over fill it.
