Yes, when your right your right. I'd vote with the republicans on this. The child credit isn't being taken, you just have to supply a SS number, the same as you do to file tax.

Politics as usual the vote was to table Reid's amendments in order to call up her own that move failed 42-54 with people on both sides crossing party lines. they have amendment to the bill on both sides and this was a strategy move on her part that failed. had she won it would have killed the benefits bill that was being debated
