    Default What is the H.P. difference in a 9" & a quickchange?

Can anyone tell me how much horsepower a quick-change rearend looses over a 9" grand-national rearend?

I agree with 6wRacn, the difference is too small to feel when you are behind the wheel. The biggest difference is going to be in weight of the respective rear ends and not the horsepower loss. The winters weighs about 110 lbs (+/- 5 lbs) while the Grand National with the center section and full spool weighs 194 lbs (+/- 5 lbs). The difference between the two rear ends can affect your in rear percentages.
