    Default Falcon linkage on trans

What do you guys use to connect the shifter rod to the hiem on on a falcon trans.
I have always used a clevis on my Bert, but on this falcon there is not room between the trans and the hiem for a clevis?

I had the same problem. I just used a very small bolt and lock nut. I think I got rid of the clevis and used a heim end as well.

Performance Bodies sells an aluminum clevis that's low profiled for $8.99 a piece. While they are close, they do fit and work really well. Ive been using the same set for many years. PRP28982C is the PN.
They are sold as a replacement part on a complete shifter set up on page 156 of their online catalog.

I use two pieces of flat stock aluminum that are riveted together for each shifter and bent kind of in a Z to match the offset from the shifter to trans. It works great, just do not tighten the bolts all the way (I tighten them snug and then back them off a 1/4 to 1/2 turn) or the trans will not shift very well. I use nylock nuts with no problems but you could double nut them.
