    Default Pierce birdcage location

Just purchased used pierce, 2012 clamped, came with book which says measurement from rear shock mounts c/c 38 1/2 inches mine measures 36 1/2. Measurement from rotor to shock mount on each side should be 7 1/2. Mine measures 8 1/2 ..Basically mine are 1 inch too far in each side. Is this acceptable or do I need to weld plugs in housing and relocate over 1 inch.

I moved them out as per book. While moving I was surprised at how much inch made to springs and shock travel. Especially LR . All the paint was rubbed off door cage behind driver from too much travel. With left fully extended and jack under RR it had couple inches clearance now. Do I need to start with any LR lead or run straight up as it is currently set.

first thing is square your rear end up ,measure from the mid plate, then go from there .
