    Default quick fuel carb question

    have a 750 quick fuel alky carb and the front float gets stuck it it sits, is there anything I can do to stop this, I her run gas through it helps?

    after every race take one of the lower bowl bolts out drain the carb , then fill the carb bowls with gas, alky is a very dry fuel, will stick the needle and seats.

    i have the same issue with the same carb. the needle and seat need to be specific for alky, this is very important. other than that every couple weeks I take the needle out and clean the area and drench it with WD-40. seems to help

    I agree with bob75 alky evaporates and leave that white residue which gums up everything in carb,not to mention the fact if carb is full of gas no need for the ketchup bottle to start it the next time you want to run the motor.

    Do you use lube in your alky? I use lube and haven't had that problem. Knock on wood. JMO

    no problems, yes i use lube in fuel
