Have an 08 Rayburn swing arm car. Great foward bite but lr always sets down hard and makes car jump right alittle. Should in go up on shock copression or rebound or both ?Thanks Gary

    go up on shock compression.
depending on what your motion ratio on the swing arm is, it cuts the shock number just like the spring rate.
if you are on say a 50% ratio, and you have a 6 compression shock, you actually have a 3 compression.
I think there should be lifeguards in the genepool.

Try putting another 1-14 on rearend. Put one on the outside of the mounting plate on the left and right side.
This will rob you of a little drive off, but you should still have plenty. Or you could put an all compression gas shock on the rear of the birdcage if your birdcage allows for it

if you want to do it with the brake, put a brake floater on the left rear with an aggressive pad and a good amount of angle in bar going from floater to chassis, then do what matt49 said.

I have the same problem, but everytime I put any compression in the lr it really makes the car tight. Any suggestions?

youll have to free it up somewhere else, but if the lr is crashing down its going to be very hard to have consistant lap times

I've tried it with almost all the lr out of the car, like almost straight up across the back. I'm on koni's all the way around and I tried a 30-50 bilstein, which if I'm not mistaken is a 5 comp 3 reb. It just makes the car a lot tighter, I've had m-2's on the car and it doesn't get any better.

If you are too tight off the gas, heres four suggestions.
    1)Increase indexing of LR
    2)Increase LR spring
    3)Increase bite
    4)Soften LF spring

Move pull bar little to right have some low speed put in shock compression does not work as good as low speed
