Fuel consumption
Has anyone on here ever calculated about how many gallons or pounds per hour a 2.3 ford is consuming ehile racing?

Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. 1 Cor 9:24

There is way too many variables to come up with a number for that. RPM, Gearing, compression ratio, head work, timing, carb, header, intake, I can keep going but it's a waste of time.

I run a 10 lap heat & 15 lap feature on a 1/4 mile dirt track with a mild built 2.3L and never have used more than 2 gallons a nite.

Also depends on what fuel your running. Im averaging 5g a night on e85.

i run about 20-30 practice laps,3 laps qualifying,8-10 lap heat race and 25-30 lap main, i run sunoco 110 on a 1/4 mile track and use about 2 gallons
No matter how hard you try...you cant fix stupid!!!
If you build it right...it will turn left!!!
