Rules question
I know a track that requires you to have a fully stock carb, stock cam gear, and hyd cam. but they also allow newer fuel injected/fwd cars to run. Does one have an advantage over the other?

I run a mustang against mostly FWD DOHC cars with a stock motorcraft carb/hyd. cam & am a top 3 car almost weekly. If your track has some moisture come feature time the RWD will hook up & go. If it gets REALLY dry slick (like my track often does) the faster FWD cars will pull away from me...Also depends on how strict your track tech is, ours is 99% non existent. Tires is all they check, haven't looked under a hood in years.
