Default Best steering box and quickner combo?

What box ratio and quickner are most mods running?

I like the GM Z steering box with no quickener and a large circumference steering wheel.

Is the Sweet box any lighter? Also, does anyone know how much the 605 box and 800 box weigh?

From what my drivers say , the Sweet feels more positive and less play than the steering box + quickener . Don't think its any lighter , but since you aren't using a quickener you save weight .

I have yet to hear from someone that after switching to the Sweet box they couldnt feel a noticeable difference, I think its worth the extra $300 over a good 12:1 box and $150 2:1 quickner.

I run a Delphi 600 series box (5lbs lighter than the sweet) 12-1 with .185 valving ($499.00 from PSC Steering) and a Howe Stealth HD quickner ($145.00) Best box and quickner combo for the money with no compromise in feel or quality. You can also get the Delphi 600 box in a 6-1 from PSC for $1159.00. Sweet is good stuff, but there are other choices.

The 6:1 box (sweet) takes less effort and has more feel ( less play) jmo
