Where to go this weekend in the south?
Can't decide where to go on March 7th, cars are going to be split up all over.
North Ga speedway 4,000 to win
Clarksville Speedway 5,000 to win
Volunteer speedway 7,500 to win
Winchester speedway (TN) 3,000 to win
East Alabama Mtr Speedway 6,000 to win
Ugh,where to go? I have been to all these tracks but East Alabama

I'm hoping Volunteer Speedway doesn't have to postpone, but I'm not too optimistic given the weather they've had plus the forecast for this week. Clears out by the weekend, but I probably couldn't blame them for having to cancel.

I overheard some ole boys talking about how North Georgia does seem to drag. How bad are we talking? I'd like to get there once (or twice) this year.

I always give them a chance every single year. But last few times I went for big races seems to take forever. I love going there but just gets dragged out. But have been going there since I was a kid.

If you think N. Ga. drags things out take a trip to EAMS.

I've never been to north georgia , but I know that the ultimate guys keep the show rolling on there end...............and the racers ain't skeered to sling it!!!!
Wish I could go.......

North Ga is my local track. Track should be hammer down with all the rain and snow we have had the past week and calling for rain during the middle of the week. If the topside is working it produces some of the best side by side racing. It is a very fast 1/3 mile high banked track. The saying around here is if you can race at north ga and be competive you can race anywhere around the south.

I'm guessing it'll be over at NGS between 11-12.
It's home, and when it's right there's no place I'd rather be. Looking forward to it.
Kelly and his guys with the ultimate series will do all they can to move it along. They do a great job, and have a race the next afternoon.
BBQ if something brakes loose and you can make it, tickets on me.

Thank you guys for those kind words. We will do our level best to help everyone get home in good time. Chip and his guys do a good job. We would love to have you join us at North Georgia but please make sure that if you don't come to our show you do go somewhere and support a race track.

It's very easy to say nice things about a series and a group of dedicated officials when they are all true ........
Ultimate is a great name for your group Kelly!!

Think I will head to North Ga. I really do love the place and the racing there is sometimes top notch for sure. Plus I have a 7 year old that loves being so close to the action on the backstretch

I was thinking of heading to Clarksville. I'm beyond tired of the snow and cold up by us. Clarksville is about 7-8 hours away for me, but I need a weekend away. Of the expected names I've seen so far, many are from our parts anyway. Could be a good show if they get it in.

Could be one or two of these that get PPD. Any place that had some snow for the last couple of weeks already has a saturated ground with some rain coming this week. Might be hard just to get a track ready.
