Default What is the definition of a "big" camshaft

I here the term "big" cam and really don't know what it means as compared to a mild cam. Is it more lift, duration, or overlap or a combination of all three. Also, at what point does a camshaft become "big". Thanks

Relative to what builder you ask I guess.

But if I'm guessing a big cam would be in reference to one with a combined high amount of lift and duration. For the platform .

What some would say is a big cam for a 23 degree small block may not be very large in a wide bore rox build.
