Nothing in the rules about minimum amount of races so doubt it.They will make the money up by more tire sales. Ump is not cash strapped, yet.

Remember back in the day when it paid 100,000 to win. Just think of the drivers that might follow the whole tour if it still paid that with a good pay down through the field. Those were the days when it was ran by the guy who started UMP Bob Memmer. You know the good ole days. If they do cut the pay then are they any better then a track who cuts its purse because of low car count.

If I run dead last in my heat and spin all alone and take out the leaders while being lapped like gray or win the thing like bloomquist the additional money for tires to support
A point fund I don't race for still makes zero sense. Why not charge racers entry fees instead ??

Why is it huckster that you've always got to toss Brian Gray into a conversation? Could it be that you secretly loath to be him or with him? I mean we all know that you bat for the other team being you and Sergio are butt bandits and all but come on now you have to go after Brian Gray? I think you've been drinking to muck of ol Sergio's jelly juice again....
If you can't race it or take it to bed! It ain't worth having!

Brian just makes it too easy, he knows everything there is to know about racing (just ask him).

It only paid $100,000 one year in 2002, though there was a bonus in 1999 that paid $100,000 if a driver won half the events. Other than that back in the day it paid I believe $10,000 to win points.

Yeah I wasn't sure how many years that went on but, could you imagine if it still paid that. Even if it paid 50,000 and good through the field.

Well that old man had a good vision on where he wanted this to go but, I doubt very much he envisioned what it is now.

It used to be the Hell Tour because you RACED so much in a 20 day period...now it's hell because you TRAVEL so much in a 30 day period.
The soul of that series was sold up the river.
