...THE PURSE!

This weekend's Gene Reamer King-of-THE-HILL race boasts a total cash and prize purse that goes well above $30,000 and you know what's missing?

Late Models, A-Mods, Sprint Cars and the like!!!

It's just TWO "Grass Roots" classes and that's all! Can you get more grass roots than Factory Stocks and Sport Mods? I don't think so.

For comparison, your average SUPR Late Model race is about $13,000 these days. USMTS around $14,000. ASCS with all the fees... $12,000 for regional about $20,000 for national so... THIS is awesome!

Know what else is missing?

An entry fee! (And no sanction or registration fees either.)

Run just Fri & Sat, and still be eligible for part of $29,000+ at: Cost = #of pit passes X $65 + one $25 transponder rental.

That's it. Nothing else except the $$$ in your race car and the traveling cost and considering Factory Stocks run on the cheapest tire in the game, you're ahead of them other classes in the cost of that much anyway!

You'll also be racing at the legendary Boothill Speedway. This is the place that National Dirt Late Model Hall of Fame member Doug Ingalls, National Sprint Car Hall of Fame member Gary Wright, Ronny Adams -- the original "King of the Hill" along with the likes of Ray Ingalls, Jeff Castle, Billy Melton, Billy Robinson, Gene Boyer, Wes Grigsby, Ace Henigan, and so many, many more over the 43-year old history of this track, made famous! Even NASCAR's Mark Martin competed here before his NASCAR career launched. Longest running active track in Louisiana!

So if Grass Roots is your thing.... find a way to support this show if you can!
