    557 crate

open depends on your rpm, but you can figure it out now that you know the crate gear.

A few years ago before the 7,800 RPM chip rule it was getting pretty crazy. I know some guys were getting down into the 6.50 range with some GOOD motors and turning well over 9,000 rpm.

If its your first time there you can rent gears at the track from Fast Shafts. Eric

I wont be there, been there a few years ago with my stock car and it was exactly what I expected.. a bunch of yahoos driving over other cars to not be stopped during cautions, slime for the first 5 heats after a farming session, mud the next 5 etc.

Went every year for over 10 yrs straight..... But always left the car at home Its a great time to go and watch and have a good time eating/drinking but they tear up A LOT of race cars because people drive like they are racing for a million to win on every lap. The days are crazy long and and you could end up racing any hour of the day/night/morning.
This will be my 2nd year in a row not being there. (live 17 hours away now) Might have to make it back there for next year. Eric
