Ray Cook Charges to Top Ten in $15k Coors Light Fall Classic at Whynot

(BRASSTOWN, NORTH CAROLINA) Ray Cook and his #53 team ventured to Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, Mississippi on October 23-24 for the annual running of the 'Coors Light Fall Classic.' The unsanctioned Super Late Model special drew a strong 45 car field to Whynot and all eyes were fixated on the $15,000 top prize. On Friday night, Ray clicked off the sixth fastest lap in Group B during the qualifying session prior to grabbing the fourth and final transfer spot through his heat race.

After starting Saturday's 100-lap main event from the outside of the eighth row, Ray charged inside of the top ten in the 'Coors Light Fall Classic.' At the checkers, the Brasstown, North Carolina ace found himself credited with a solid eighth place performance.
