Dennis Erb Racing Eyes National 100 on Heels of Top Five Run at Whynot!

(CARPENTERSVILLE, ILLINOIS) Dennis Erb Racing ventured south to Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, Mississippi on October 23-24 for the annual running of the 'Coors Light Fall Classic.' The unsanctioned, two-day shootout at Whynot drew a 45 car field, all of whom were vying for the $15,000 top prize. On Friday night during preliminary action, Dennis Erb, Jr. qualified eleventh quickest in Group B, but later blasted to the front of his heat race to claim the triumph.

After rolling off from the outside of the front row in Saturday's 100-lap main event, Dennis paced the talented field for the first two circuits. The Carpentersville, Illinois star then hung around the front of the pack throughout the remainder of the 'Coors Light Fall Classic' before netting a solid fifth place performance behind only victor Mike Marlar, Billy Moyer, Jared Landers, and Chris Simpson. Complete results from Whynot Motorsports Park can be accessed online at www.whynotmotorsportspark.com.

Next up for the #28 team will be a visit to East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, Alabama for the 41st edition of the ‘National 100.’ With a gloomy weather forecast for Sunday at EAMS, the entire unsanctioned program has been condensed into a single-day format for the Super Late Models on Saturday, October 31. Time trials, heat races, consolation events, and the 100-lap headliner will all take place on Saturday evening at the historic Alabama facility. A $20,000 winner’s check will be on the line along with lap money for the leader.
