Dennis Erb, Jr. Wraps Up 2015 Campaign in Extended World Finals Weekend

(CARPENTERSVILLE, ILLINOIS) Dennis Erb Racing closed out their version of the 2015 racing season from November 5-8 in the annual running of the 'World of Outlaws World Finals' at the state-of-the-art Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord, North Carolina. The World of Outlaws Late Model Series once again held their final two events of the season at the 4/10-mile speedplant and things kicked off on Thursday night with two rounds of qualifying. Dennis Erb, Jr. clicked off the twenty-seventh quickest lap in Group A for Friday's program and the seventeenth fastest time in Group A for Saturday's shootout.

At the Charlotte-area facility on Friday evening, Dennis wound up ninth in his loaded heat race and opted to scratch from his B-Main. With torn-up race cars the norm on Friday, Dennis was able to save his equipment and did not compete in the $12,000 to win feature event, which was cut to only 30 laps. Following a rain-out on Saturday, the 'World Finals' finale went off without a hitch on Sunday afternoon.

The Carpentersville, Illinois standout advanced up to fourth in his heat race prior to grabbing the second and final transfer spot through his B-Main. After rolling off from the outside of the eleventh row in the 50-lapper, which also paid $12,000 to the winner, Dennis was able to move past eight competitors on his way to a fourteenth place performance. Full results from the season-ending weekend can be accessed online at www.woolms.com.

He also amassed twenty-two (22) Top Five showings and thirty-eight (38) Top Ten efforts. Dennis parlayed a strong year on the LOLMDS tour to an eighth place finish in the final point standings.
