But since then they have been good.
the chunk issue is what I heard so if thats gone super

The reason they chunk is some people over sipe and sipe to deep which is the major cause.
-
another key issue is...when the heck was UMP going to announce this or put out rules....USRA and others already have everything out, seems like UMP just lets it all leak out.
-
You really never thought it would be any different did you? UMP ,,no rules,,no balls,,but of course they don't need any either
We build fast race cars,,not race cars fast!
-
Was told IF the tire is this year the price in Central Illinois will be $120.Great savings! NOT
-
wake UP promoters UMP needs to be gone, or racers will be gone make a choice, but the status quo with the NC race group running things is not working and has not been working. Tire rule sneaking out on msg boards and no official rules. WTF, the other sanctions can at least get rules out. UMP is either not concerned about midwest mod and bmod racers or they are incompetent but either one is not good and they need to go.

one tire helps, the bigger issue is that ump is doing little or nothing to communicate, so there are likely racers unaware.....also most would consider there tire options once they knew a new tire was coming in June/JulyI would have to agree with other posters, usra techs and has rules out before the season, they would allow spoilers, promoters ditch ump.
-
anyone that runs ump should not been stunned by any of this
-
gee guess once everyone buys up some more d's and A's that they can only run till June or so, then ump will let us know officially that they have a new tire and you cant run the old ones.
-
All of the people on here that have there inside information are being lied too.
-
some lies some truth. The Eldora rules claimed a new tire was coming for mods and shows that UMP will be bringing a new tire soon....
If you look on STL and other places many were told that UMP was switching and likely will be for 2017. In the end I dont see UMP as an organization that has its act together in any way or shape. You dont leak out rules for another class that show a new tire for mods. On top of that the 2016 tire rule are less than stellar...why is the H not allowed the hardest tire of all...

Eldoras rule looked to me like they were calling the A40s a NEW tire. Notice it isn't listed under the allowed tires?
-
eldora deal still deceiving because it mentions a NATIONAL mod tire and the A40 is not national because you can still run H40 on RR. Hoosier rep is saying new tire is coming for 2017, so no doubt UMP had a change in mind and fouled up the rules. Still expect a tire in 2017....
Bottom line UMP is far from organized.
