Very surprised to see Francis on the list.
-
Been down this road before
-
I talked to someone last weekend who was at Atomic who works for a top LM team and he said not many were talking about the event nor did they say if they were going to enter in it. Even when they were in FL.
-
Add Eddie carrier jr . according to his schedule

Hopefully won't be someone's finger........
Where is the move over flag when you need it?????
-
Its a shame people think you have to have the big names to have a great show.
-
you took the words right out of my mouth
-
Some big names won't like the small track but none the less it's gonna be a great show!!
-
Like I said in the other thread.
You will be surprised on who is and who is not on the entry list.
It could be one of the most diverse and interesting fields ever assembled (atleast up there) for a dirt late model race. Big names or not.
You could have a guy from the Carolina Clash series in the same race with someone from the Wissota series. Outside of Eldora, you have no chance of that happening anywhere else.

I have feel the same way. Your gonna have guys from all over the place who have never raced against each other. Part of the reason this is an intriguing event is due to the nature of it. Inside a dome (old NFL stadium), on a 1/5th mile dirt track, with drivers who have never raced against each other, width of track, ect. There hasn't been a in late model / modified race in 34 years. Until the event is over no one really knows how it might turn out. Either way I hope to be there.

Yeah, that's never ever happened at volusia , east bay,Charlotte,etc........
Pffffft........

For all the cars that have supposedly entered, this is a very unimpressive list. Meaning that 150 lates pre reg'd and only 3 on this list. Where are the rest of the names? I'm not bashing, just wondering.
Scott Kleindorfer

I seen Kevin Weaver had his name in the hat to be there, it was released on his face book page. He's the only other one I've seen so far from the ones that are listed above. Not sure why they are releasing them the way they are myself? Maybe it's to keep people like us wondering and asking questions I guess.

They will release a name every other day or so for lates and probably one a day for mods. They did this similar to bad boy indy invite to build hype. Just from my previous experience for a first time indoor race I would advise all to not think your going to Macon or bellville. I sure hope they can get some banking to hold up so it won't be a bottom feeding choo choo. I'll be there for sure but not expecting to see the race of the year.

I don't recall guys like Ben Watkins or Anthony Sanders ever being in the places you mentioned. What about Kenny Compton Jr???? Doug Sanders??? How many speedweek races did these guys enter? Better yet how many races did they enter with a Wissota guy in the field? Or even in the same heat race?
And outside of Ricky Weiss, How many Wissota guys make the yearly voyage to speedweeks????
If it takes you awhile to answer. I'll understand.
-
Wish they didn't have it capped at 150.
-
140 lates and 232 mods per their FB.
