I see where several drivers and photographers are auctioning pics and a few other small things, all proceeds go to the Floyd family....that's really cool how fans and racers all come together in a tragic time like this.
Godspeed. The story says he was a fire fighter and EMT, I hope he gets all of the praise and love he deserves. The things those guys/girls see and do to protect people is something I couldn't do. I'm fortunate enough to have never had to witness a death or injury that led to death in all of the years I've been at racetracks. I'm not sure I could go back again after that. Absolutely terrible. I hope the family can find peace in something at this time.
RIP Charlie Floyd. That was by far the worst thing I have ever seen in my 30 years of going to the races. The racing family is hurting bad over this. Tracks and drivers have really come together to help the family out with Atomic and Tyler County both raising money to help. I'm proud to be a part of the Atomic Speedway crew. Me and our other photographer Krissy's Dirt Track to Mud is auctioning off some large creative print's with all proceeds going to the Floyd family. So please go over to my page or Krissy's page and place your bids. The pages are as follows:
Godspeed Charlie Floyd
Thoughts and Prayers go out to Charlie's family, friends, crew and loved ones and everybody involved.
Next Race: 3/31/18 "Bunny 20's" with Sprints, Late Models, Modifieds and Sport Mods
*We will also be having an Easter Egg Hunt @ 3:00 so bring the kids out for a fun and enjoyable Saturday night as we open the 2018 race season*
Also very amazing how the community is rallying around the family. The gofund me page has exploded over the past 12 hrs. Lets keep it climbing too.. https://www.gofundme.com/tczduhg4
