Default Summernationals only paid $15,000 to win points?

Forgive me if I am wrong but did it not pay alot of money to win in the past?

Yes, believe it's cause of the weekly payouts if I'm not mistaken

I think just from the 10 wins the champ collected $78,000 Also won all 4 weekly segments $8,000 plus Championship $15,000 = $101,000 not bad for 1 month of racing.

Like I said before. Cost of a couple motor's and a few sets of tires and everything else is a loss.

That's because there was a weekly points fund this year as well. Bobby won the points for every week except one in which Unzicker won. Each week paid $2,000 for a total of $10,000 if you win all 5 weeks. In all Bobby won about $24,500 from the tour in championship money from the tour points and weekly points.

They announced the new points fund system before the series started this year. It didn't take anybody by surprise.

LOL......He won 10 races....9 were for 5,000 and one for 10,000 I believe.....That's a lot more than 23 or 24 K....Then add in the 4 weekly bonus of 2K each and the money for the other 12 finishes he had.

I thought the same thing. 75-80 grand would be close in total earnings. Someone's calculator needs new batteries.

Original post didn't say anything about race wins just the championship and that was what I replied to. Calculator isn't broken. Also said about $24,500 for the championship. Thead title didn't state anything about the race wins combine with the championship.

The last time Bloomquist won it, the points paid 100,000 to win. I think that was way back in 02 or 03.
