How many cars at World 100?
I know 4 that will not be there for sure. How many more will the tire rule drive away? (keep in mind its pretty much the same tire rule that drove them away from the Summernationals).
My personal guess is 80.
What is yours and why?

Where is the move over flag when you need it?????

I think this will be the lowest number of cars in world 100 history. The "new"tire rule and tiregate from the dream will keep drivers away. Not all drivers that go to Eldora have room in their budget for all new non grooved Hoosiers. 75 cars.

75 late models this year.
-
Im going to go with 88 cars this year.
-
Bloomquist and the other drivers will make it 94 after the rained out weekend.
-
99. Final answer
Ps- Someone from outside the box for the win.

Hmmm, last year their were I believe 89.
Subtract the 4 (I believe it was 5), and you've got 85.
Your personal guess is 80? 5 cars less??
According to your numbers, I guess the tire rule will actually have no effect at all.

the sport is getting more and more expensive, and car counts will keep going down, new tire rules, having to run 3 nights, that's a lot of laps on a motor!!! your low budget teams hope to run one engine all year and freshen it up over the winter, but you run all year up to the world and have around 700 laps, your hope is 750 to 1000 before the 10,000 to 15,000$$ freshen job and you could easily have 250 laps over the world 100 weekend,,,,,,,,,

An observation if I may..... At all the previous Worlds, don't ya think it took new tires for the weekend to win, make field, have a decent run, what have ya? Whether they was grooved, sipped, or buffed? Only cars I think it might affect is those drivers that show up, knowing they ain't got a chance in hell of making a b-main, just wanna say I ran at the Big E World weekend, and go out and run a 21.456 in time trials. They might not be in a position to buy a bunch of new tires. Especially if Eldora is the only place they could race em, wouldn't work at their local Saturday night track. ...Even more money up for grabs this year, and 3 huge Eldora favorites not gonna be there. With all that said, you'll gain cars and lose some. But no change in count. 90-100 in attendance.

you might gain some guys that you wouldn't expect I know at least 3 weekly racers that are fired up about the tire rule less prepping to do that weekend
