Default Info on Mach 1 late model

Looking for info on Mach 1 late mode chassis. Are they a copy of another chassis? Are they easy to setup? Just looking for some general info.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Good cars. They have had a lot of success in eastern Iowa/western Illinois. In fact I think the top 2 cars in IMCA NAtional points were Mach 1's (I know 2nd place was for sure). The problem is builder of the Mach 1 is now busy fabricating Black Diamonds for Stuckey and doesn't have time to give advice on the Mach 1's.

Thanks for the info. Do you know of anyone that's familiar with them that can help with setup and stuff?

Some here have said they are close to a Mastersbilt. Why not get in touch with the guy who built them? Someone here certainly should have some contact info. Contact Stuckey for a start...

I will give my thoughts since my 13yr old daughter uses one for ump crate racing. Mike was an employee of jack roush for years. Came home and cad designed his stuff. There are a few variations of these cars as the years went on. We have a 2011 so the tail is similar to a smack down. The frontend is reverse strut of his own design. In late 2011 Darren Miller stubbed one of his cars using victory circle parts. So then mike used that design. In late 2014 some changes were done again to the front and the tail. Ray Guss jr drove one and the car was bad fast. Ray actually drove our car and won a 3k show in it in imca before we bought it and he really liked how well the car steered and how well he could feel the right front. My kid loves how it steers and the drive off the car has. Very under rated chassis. Mike was just able to make a better living welding for stuckey. The cars seem to be better on the 14" tire too. Try giving mike a call. He still helps us out.

Ok thanks for the info. Do you know what year he started building these cars and what type headers fit these cars?
