Gateway payout
Does anyone know the payout for the late models on Saturday @ Gateway for positions 1-22. Thanx in advance.

It wasn't too good is all I know. One of the things they'll have to work on if they want the teams to keep showing up, especially for the amount of stuff that got tore up and the entry fees involved. I know Pierce got $100 for 12th on Friday according to DoD. Sheppy made it known in his interview Saturday that they need to work on the payout

Wow. My buddy ran 10th in a Bmain Friday and 8th in a Bmain Saturday. He made $0!!! They had at least 8 guys in the pits with them as well. That is ridiculous. I was very happy with the event until I heard this.

Mike Hamerlee was offered but he turned it down.

So there is no payouts for any D,C,or B main cars? They didnt even give them the non qualifier money since they didnt have that race? IF that is the case then that is very sad and many cars will not return. Between entry fee, pit passes, fuel, tires, body damage, hotel, etc it becomes a very expensive weekend..

It cost a ton of money just to put this show on. No idea how much but $500,000 wouldn't surprise me and maybe a lot more.

I understand that it cost a lot of money. I am 100% behind hthis event. However, you cannot have a guy run a late model and modified 3 days in a row without even giving them a $100. It just will turn guys away in the future. Trust me on that. And I know for sure that there was good money made on this event. To have the event grow and keeep fans coming then you need the drivers.
Even if we play it on the safe side and say there were 10,000 fan x $50 a ticket. Thats $500,000. Add in $150 in pit passes x 222 cars = $33,000+. Then add in all the crew pit passes and car entry fees. I dont know what the rule was for concessions but if he gets any cut of that there was huge money made there as well. They sold a ton of merchandise as well and also recieved sponsorship dollars from VP,O'Reilly, etc. He also recieved a cut from the DoD PPV. So please, do not tell me how much the event cost and act as if he did not make money. Make it right with the racers and send them all a decent check.
