Bloomquist On His A Game

Bloomquist realized his primary car was not up to par after the B main so he switched to his backup for the feature. Brilliant!
Curious to know why other drivers don't do this if they are starting in the back of the feature? Seems like it gives you somewhat of an advantage to see which piece is better.

I'm not sure that means he is on his "A Game". That just means he has options. Showing up to one of the biggest races of the year and your primary piece can't make it out of the B main is far from "A Game" in my opinion.

He'll get it figured out though, love him or hate him, never doubt him.

You ever think with the other chassis guys i.e. rocket and longhorns being fast as they are and with some of the bigger races coming up that just maybe he has changed some things up ? I would bet on that.

We will see how he does tonight in the qualifiers. Last night he is was not very close to say the least. This is a track where he comes in with the set up and usually starts on the front row and often stinks up the show. I will be surprised if that happens this weekend. Last night he took off like his usual self from the third row in the consy and then two youngsters wasted no time running right past him. Tyler Erb and some youngster from down south in the 18. From there it was down hill. His feature run looked better. He held off being lapped for about the last 40 laps when the leaders were in position to lap him.
