Late Models returning to LaSalle Speedway

I'm not sure if they were originally to be part of this show, but I see that Late Models will be running at LaSalle Speedway on Sunday, September 24, in conjunction with the Bill Waite Memorial Sprint Car race.

$3500 to win/$350 to start (UMP rules).

It was originally supposed to be a Corn Belt Clash sanctioned race before the UMP/DIRTcar/WRG drama happened.

This will be a great show with IRA Sprint and Late Models. The IMCA show LaSalle just had put on some of the best races I have ever seen. Track was very good from top to bottom. Cant wait for the this show.

Being a Sunday race with a decent purse, and without knowing what else is going on that weekend, I would think at least the local stars should be in attendance, like Feger, Unzicker, Spatola, Weaver, Bell, Mataragas, and a host of others.
