Went to this the last couple of years. Don't get me wrong I love Fairbury but this is all about the mods...After qualifying 80+ mods, then 6 20 minute heat races with multiple cautions - as usual for the mods. The lates feature won't start till at least 11:30, on a worn out track. Just be prepared if you go.

I saw Pierce has this show on his schedule, but on his Facebook account someone asked him about the Hillbilly 100 (back on the 23rd) and he replied he was probably going to Farmer City and then Lucas Oil Speedway (they have a $5K MLRA race on Saturday). So who knows...

The Friday show at FC is on a number of guys schedules. Aside from the regulars, I saw Babb, Erb, Pierce, Heckenast, and Feger all appear to be going. But then both the WoO and LOLMDS have shows on Sat/Sun. I believe a lot of guys take this weekend off to prepare for Eldora as well.

Always good LM racing at FALS though!

This show is for the mods indeed. They deserve a big show like
This. Frankly they have been the show most of the year at fals. None the less they will put on a great race! 🏁

ptown, I know that this will mean nothing to you, but maybe, just maybe some true dirt race fans enjoy different classes of racing. I have owned several late models, and yes, modifieds. Please share with all of us the years you have raced, what classes, how many cars, your average yearly expenses, your favorite tracks, your records.... You alone are a good reason to leave 4M. Yes, I am driving 5+ hours to FALS for this Saturday. Truly enjoy the track and the people. Third trip this year. I will have a Mod in the field.
