Donald McIntosh
Read on DOD that he is running a 007 chassis. Does anyone know anything about a 007?
-
He likes his martini's shaken, not stirred...
I was a highwayman
Along the coach roads I did ride
With sword and pistol by my side
and I am still alive

I think he built legend cars?

Like the kid and have enjoyed watching his progression throughout the sport but this IS the dumbest silly season news that's taken place for multiple reasons. One leave one of the best regional rides in the country to start your own team when very few professional travelers can make that work. Second hit the national tour on your own for the first time. Third do it in a car that won't have any feed back from anyone else other then you. Fourth you need major cheese behind you to even think about doing this and this entire deal smells of career destroyer. Last but not least let's go on a national tour with ONE absolute massive hog Buick engine. Buick??? 531??? He's not trying to go compete against big chief on Street outlaws. That massive engine won't do him any good after hotlaps let alone there's no way in the world you can do the entire series with one engine. I wanna see him rock out but none of these decisions make any sense!

He'll be off tour by Memorial Day.
New car, new engines, new tracks, no chance. That's not meant as a slight against him. Its hard enough to beat those guys with a notebook full of info. Ain't happening starting from scratch.

Does he have any sizeable sponsors?
-
Going on a tour against guys he doesn't usually beat , in a car that's completely unproven , without the crew chief that's been with him for several years , with a smaller budget and without a bigtime power plant on the days of cars that can run wide open .... what could possibly go wrong ?!! I predict 20+ lucas wins for him this year !!

I like the idea of going out and trying something different, but not on that level of tour. Plenty of good races in the South to do that.

Money talks .... If he wants the baddest trophy case ever built I can handle it but I'm very expensive and he has at least a 6 month wait... I'd suggest saving that money for his war chest
