2 years ago we sat in 28 degree weather at LaSalle froze our butts off and saw some darn good racing. The year before that in was in the high 70's both days. Tony is one of the few who is willing to take a risk being in late march who have a better shot a decent weather then before the Spring rainy season gets here.

I was just on Twitter more than one driver happy this weekend's racing cancelled because of the weather. They said no one likes racing when it's cold. I agree

The die hard fans would sit in cold weather to watch. The casual fans won't.

I nearly froze every appendage off at the Illini two years ago with the temperature at 35-40 and a 40 mph wind and went both nights.

The coldest I can ever remember at a dirt track. Most all had salamander heaters under the cars to keep the vitals warm.

Yep. It was also a packed grandstands that night at a near sold out capacity. Cold or not folks wanted to see some racing and they showed up in groves that evening on a track that's usually pretty good.

Both Friday and Saturday, highs in the mid 50's. Friday low, 38. Sat. low, 33.

And keep in mind, those low temperatures don't come until right around daybreak. Racing will be long over by then.

Temperatures won't be the problem. Rain might certainly be though.
